"It's no good pretending that any relationship has a future if your record collections disagree violently
or if your favorite films wouldn't even speak to each other if they met at a party." - Nick Hornby"
Ahh words to live by! Moving on.
..I am one of the most positive people you know... at least I think
so. I definitely tend to err on the side of optimism...sometimes, admittedly, to a fault. If you want
my opinion, you will have to ask me as I don't feel it necessary to pontificate unless one is interested
in my pontification.
Likewise, people who just HAVE to have their opinion heard at all costs tend to
grate on my nerves. I love words and language and people and stuff that doesn't suck. I tend to be
attracted to positive, strong people.
Of course I believe in equality and thus when it comes to ladies,
I suppose I am looking for someone horny dating sexy girls a bit like me... but not exactly.
Ok.
.. let me break down some qualifications... being funny is VERY important. A woman who can make
me laugh is rare but cherished. Intelligent? Yeah. Sorry I don't have time to talk to girls who say
"your" when they mean "you're" ya know? Age is irrelevant, but I want to meet a lady who wears her
age well.
.. if that doesn't make sense... well...yeah. Lastly, I would really like to meet a lady who
knows how to talk... I can certainly carry a conversation (English/French/Italian/Spanish) but where
are the women who know how to keep up? Good conversation is a two-way street.
As far as looks go, hmmm...
someone on par with me would be nice... I'm no model but I'm no slouch either. If you would feel comfortable
coming up and talking to me at a party.
.. then go for it. Am I arrogant? Nah... pretty confident though.
You can usually tell within the first five minutes if you will "click" or not... so the first date
has got to be somewhere quiet and simple.
.. if the first meeting goes well, the second date can be
really fun! Since you know more about the person you can make the date really "fit" what they are into...
is that too vague? Hmm.
